Hi 03,

The latest word is this: we're still going to have the two days long workshops in June for Zhenghua students.

It is confirmed that the dates will be 1 June and 2 June. This is because these are the only two days Zhenghua would be able to provide us.

It will last from 1000 to 1600 for both days.

I know that some of you won't be able to make because of Chem makeup. Hence, pls tell me (Ben) if you can't make it as I need to confirm the no. of people going by this Friday.

Hence, we're sticking back to the old plan.

There are basically
3 ideas generation groups
1 scheduling group
1 finalizing group
1 logistics group

So here are the roles:
If you're in one of the ideas generation group
You're supposed to come up with at least 3 ideas related to the different parts of the model (which is supposed to be done last week), now you are to make it into proper docs and send it to me and the finalising group by this Friday 9pm (08/05/2009). Btw, in the proposal pls include the ideal VENUE for where the activities should be held, some of you have been to Zhenghua, so you should have an idea of where to hold the activites you planned.

And after the finalising group has finalised the project [making sure that there is enough activities to fill up all the time (at least 10 hours) ], please send it to the scheduling group
by next Monday, 9pm

If you're in the finalising group:
You are to think of ideas/backup plans should you realise that there isn't enough activities to fill in for the whole day. Be prepared for it.

If you're in the logistics group:
Your job is provide logistical support for the whole project. However, you are also require to provide at least 1 idea for the 2-days workshop, make it into a proper doc. and send it to the finalsing group.

If you're in the scheduling group
Pls plan ahead for the schedule of the camp (don't wait until everyone submits and then rush)
What I mean is that plan ahead, try to see which time fits which kind of activities (Maybe games in the morning when it's less hot, talks in the afternoon? What your role is to prevent the worst-case scenario such as having consecutive talks cramped together)

Things to include in your proposals:
Activity
Objective/Purpose
Props needed (include notes, ppt slides)
Approximate time needed
How many people required
Venue

I know that we're all busy, but I do hope that you can put some time into this CIP, this is a class CIP and it involves you. Although this may seem 'insignificant' or 'unimportant' to some of you, pls take it seriously, the students from the previous camp were very thankful and happy for you guys have done for them and they're keen to have us mentor/teach them again, so pls, make this class CIP a good one.

APRIL FOOLS' MUSIC VIDEO COMPETITION

Our class has to create a music video of any sort (must be PG rating and below). Judging criteria is as follow:

5pts Relevance to April Fools
